Anthropos was born in April 2003 as a community founded by people keen on physical and cultural anthropology. The web site attends the needs of students and former students alike that wish to have a frame of reference on the web to exchange their information and experiences.

Community registration is completely free and allows users to access a wide range of services and utilities. Thanks to several tools of interaction such as forum, chat and on line messages, it’s possible to contact other members in the community and discuss anthropology, archeology, etnobotany and paleontology.

The web site sections collect anthropological studies, contents and reviews of books, cd rom, movies, documentaries, videogames and comic strips which contain some kind of anthropological reference.
In the download section you will find documents and programs that can be useful for your studies, research or just your free time.
The registered members also have the opportunity to publish their own pieces such as reviews, writing or news to share.

Anthropos is the only web community in Italy that brings physical and cultural anthropologists together. On occasion they also happen to gather at exhibitions and anthropological events.
